Just a 10 minute drive away from our location, you can visit the Elephant Junction. Here you can enjoy the company of tuskers , get on board for an elephant safari , and even get a shower from them! It is a truly unique experience.

Chellarkovil Viewpoint

A short drive from our location you can reach the Chellarkovil Viewpoint or Murikkady, just to name a few places where you will definitely be overcome with ecstasy gazing the sheer natural beauty.

Spice Gardens

If you visit, then you certainly cannot miss an opportunity to visit the Spice Gardens. The streets of Idukki are lined with stores selling spices of all shapes and sizes.

Kalarippayattu/Kathakali

No matter what season you visit there is always festivities taking place. You can immerse yourself in the local culture and bear witness to traditional arts like Kathakali, various tribal dances and the ancient martial art of Kalarippayattu.

Mangala Devi Kannagi temple

If you are in Kerala in the months of April and May, then you must visit the Mangala Devi Kannagi temple. You can find this 2000 year old Pandyan temple in the thick of the Periyar forest. It is only open at this time of the year for the Chitra Pournami festival.
